Bringing PLHA under Program Coverage
- Provide VCT Services through AAS Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong and Khulna service center
- Organize satellite VCT in vulnerable area
- Regular contact with referral doctors, testing lab, hospital and different agency
- Personal linkage by HIV infected individual
- Encourage the members/beneficiaries to participate in various programs
Education, counseling and condom promotion for the infected and affected
- Provide HIV, AIDS and STI related information or counseling over Phone with guaranteed anonymity of service receiver
- Peer counseling, follow up counseling, Spousal counseling, family Counseling, Counseling for the care givers, Nutritional counseling
- Provide Psychiatric Treatment support
- Condom Promotion
- Orientation of the caregivers
- Formation of counseling support group
- Home visit for home based care, family counseling or counseling of the care givers

Health care and treatment support for people living with HIV and AIDS
- Provide out-patient health services in AAS set up
- Provide necessary medicine for OIs and laboratory testing (CD4, viral load, TLC, routine test etc.)
- Referral for out-patient treatment services
- Provide ART Support
- Referral for in-patient services and Provide necessary support for inpatient care & treatment
- Identification of potential service providers and establish linkages
Advocacy, Networking and Sensitization programs
- Advocacy for the stakeholders, leaders and influential
- Advocacy for the community leaders in selected areas for reducing stigma & discrimination
- Advocacy with Health service providers for necessary support
- Advocacy with HIV testing laboratories
- Advocacy with Media for ensuring rights of PLHA
- Advocacy at policy level for formulate or review the policy for ensuring the rights of PLHA
- Networking with different organizations for continuum of care
- Community based Sensitization and awareness raising program
- Advocacy for scaling up initiatives of care & support
- Observance of World AIDS Day and AIDS Candle Light Memorials through some special events
Conduct Training for the PHA
- Conduct Peer Education/life Skills and Positive Living Training focus on:
- Basics of HIV, AIDS, STI and Protection
- Positive living: Self care and care-giving
- How to be an effective peer educator
- Conduct Public Speaking Training and Form positive speaker Bureau
- Coordinate Vocational Training for PHAs and Provide support for Income Generation Activity
- Training on treatment adherence/maintenance for counselors
- Exposure visit and placement of staff at IDU interventions
- Develop resource center
- Organize staff coordination meeting
Capacity building initiative for increasing competency of project staff of AAS
- Organize & Coordinate different training e.g. PME, Financial management, Organizational management, STI management, Counseling, VCT, Communication skill, M&E, Report writing, Advocacy, mainstreaming Gender, TOT on different issue etc. for the Staff.
- Volunteer placement for organizational development and project management
Provide support to the Infected & Affected Women & Children:
- Provide food and nutrition support
- Provide Legal Support to the women
- Provide treatment and education Support to the Orphan Children
- Facilitate to ensuring PMTCT Services
Promotion of organizational activities as well as contribute to HIV prevention in Bangladesh
- Develop & Distribute IEC and BCC materials for service promotion (brochure, booklet, stickers, health book, referral card, ART booklet, self care series etc.)
- Conduct/Host exposure visit for the different prevention organization and MARP groups at AAS center
- Information sharing sessions at hospitals, with MARP in selected NGOs
- Linkage and information sharing sessions with recruiting agencies
Formation of PHA Counselors’ support group for ensuring quality counseling
Advocacy and networking with public and private stake-holders for reducing stigma and discrimination and establishing linkages for continuum of care

- Explore donor for getting assistance for the infected as well as affected children.

Scale up care and support services to other division and district
Conduct rapid situation assessment for geographical expansion
Branding integrated health centers with Modhumita
Continue linkage with existing HIV Counseling and Testing (CT) centers, diagnostic centers, hospitals and village doctor
Publish autobiography of PHA and case study of PHA
Link with MACCA, faith-based initiatives and religious institutes of other faiths
Establish greater linkages between HIV care, support and prevention efforts
